Our Copper P-Trap is a precision-engineered wrot copper fitting designed specifically for the suction line of refrigeration compressors. It loops the refrigerant line to the floor before running vertically upward, preventing oil from draining back to the compressor during shutdown periods — a critical function for maintaining compressor lubrication and system reliability.
Manufactured from high-purity C12200 phosphorus-deoxidized copper, the P-Trap features a sweat-end (C x C) design with precision-machined solder cups for reliable brazing. The seamless, one-piece wrot construction eliminates weld seams, reducing potential leak points in high-pressure refrigerant circuits.
